Frederick Ponsonby, 3rd Earl of Bessborough (1758 - 1844) RA Collection: People and Organisations Landowner, politician, amateur watercolor-painter. Known as Viscount Duncannon until 1793; in 1793 inherited the earldom from his father, William, the second earl (1704-93). In 1793 married Lady Henrietta Spencer (1761-1821). Profile

In 1780, she married Frederick Ponsonby, Viscount Duncannon, later 3rd Earl of Bessborough (1758-1844).
