James Murray, officier militaire, administrateur colonial et premier gouverneur britannique de Québec (Ballencrieff, Écosse, 21 janv. 1721 ou 1722 -- Beauport House, près de Battle, Angl., 18 juin 1794). Murray commande un bataillon pendant le siège de LOUISBOURG en 1758 et est l'un des trois brigadiers de James WOLFE à Québec.
