An Anglo-Irish aristocrat, he is the son of Benjamin Guinness, 3rd Earl of Iveagh and Miranda Guinness. He is usually known to his family and friends as Edward Iveagh or Ned Iveagh. During the latter part of the 1990s he topped the richest under-30 list with wealth exceeding £2 billion, but in 2012 his wealth was reported to be €790 Million by the Sunday Independent [1]
