Friedrich der Große, auch Friedrich der II. genannt, war einer der berühmtesten preußischen Könige. Er lebte von 1712 bis 1786. Unter seiner Herrschaft führte Preußen viele siegreiche Kriege und gewann so neben Frankreich, Österreich, Großbritannien und Russland einen Platz als Großmacht Europas.
