Elisabeth Helene von Vieregg (4 May 1679 – 27 June 1704), Countess of Antvorskov, was Danish noble and lady-in-waiting of German origin. She was the royal mistress of King Frederick IV of Denmark and, later, his first morganatic wife by bigamy.
1 de jul. de 2020 · After the death of Elisabeth Helene von Vieregg in 1704, Frederik IV, King of Denmark and Norway began an affair with her lady-in-waiting, Charlotte Helene von Schindel. Charlotte was born in 1690, the only daughter and the youngest of the three children of Wiglas von Schindel and Anna Helene von Horn.
Charlotte Helene von Schindel was born as daughter of Wiglas von Schindel and his wife, Anna Helen von Horn. Her family were once ruling Dukes of Bernstadt and belonged to German nobility, originally from Silesia. She became the lady in waiting of Elisabeth Helene von Vieregg, the morganatic spouse by bigamy of King Frederik IV.

4 de oct. de 2023 · Ladies-in-Waiting Elisabeth von Vieregg and Charlotte von Schindel. Being monarch and the strain of the Great Northern War (1700-1721) did not keep Frederik busy enough. In 1699 he began a relationship with his sister Sophia's lady-in-waiting Elisabeth Helene von Vieregg. In 1703 he bigamously married Elisabeth.
