Elisabeth of Bavaria-Landshut. John, nicknamed the Alchemist ( German: Johann der Alchimist; 1406 – 16 November 1464) was a Margrave of Brandenburg-Kulmbach and served as the peace-loving Margrave of Brandenburg after the abdication of his father, Frederick I, the first member of the House of Hohenzollern to rule Brandenburg.
16 de ago. de 2022 · Marie was the oldest child of the Margrave Casimir of BrandenburgKulmbach (14811527) from his marriage with Susanna of Bav Marie of BrandenburgKulmbach (born 14 October 1519 in Ansbach died 31 October 1567 in Heidelberg) was a Princess of BrandenburgKulmbach and by marriage Electress Palatine.
On 14 October 1519, she gave birth to her first child, Marie of Brandenburg-Kulmbach. Via this daughter, Susanna became an ancestress of King George I of Great Britain and the House of Hanover. Susanna and Casimir had five children: Marie of Brandenburg-Kulmbach, married Elector Palatine Frederick (1519–1576) in 1537.

Christian Heinrich of Brandenburg-Bayreuth-Kulmbach (29 July 1661, in Bayreuth – 5 April 1708, in Weferlingen ), was a German prince and member of the House of Hohenzollern and nominal Margrave of Brandenburg-Bayreuth-Kulmbach.
In 1541, he received Bayreuth as his share of the family lands, but as the chief town of his principality was Kulmbach, he is sometimes referred to as the Margrave of Brandenburg-Kulmbach. His restless and turbulent nature marked him out for a military career; and having collected a small band of soldiers, he assisted Emperor Charles V in his war with France in 1543.
