Giorgio de Chirico’s House Museum is situated at n° 31 Piazza di Spagna in Rome, where he settled at the age of 60 after having lived in various European cities and a period spent in New York (1936-1938). Giorgio de Chirico was born to Italian parents in Vólos, Greece, on July 10, 1888. From 1900 he studied at the Athens Polytechnic Institute and attended evening classes in figure drawing. In around 1906 he moved to Munich, where he attended the Akademie der Bildenden Künste.
