August Wilhelm Iffland wurde am 19. April 1759 geboren . August Wilhelm Iffland war ein deutscher Schauspieler (u. a. in der Uraufführung von Schillers „Die Räuber“ 1782), Dramatiker und Intendant, nach dem der testamentarisch weitergereichte Iffland-Ring für den „bedeutendsten deutschsprachigen Schauspieler“ benannt wurde.
