Gersau (toponimo tedesco) è un comune svizzero di 2 209 abitanti del Canton Svitto, nel distretto di Gersau del quale è l'unico comune. Dal 2019 il borgo, grazie alla sua particolare bellezza architettonica, la sua storia e la posizione privilegiata in cui si trova è entrato a far parte dell'associazione " I borghi più belli della Svizzera ".

Histoire. Une cité-État a existé autour de l'actuelle ville de Gersau, en Suisse, de 1433 à 1817, voir République de Gersau . Depuis 2019, le village, grâce à sa beauté architecturale particulière, son histoire et sa localisation privilégiée, est membre de l'association "Les plus beaux villages de Suisse".
Teolinda Gersão (born 1940) is a Portuguese writer. [1] Born in Coimbra, she studied at the universities of Coimbra, Tübingen and Berlin. She also taught at the Technical University of Berlin, Lisbon University, and the Universidade de Lisboa, among others. A full-time writer since the mid-1990s, Gersao is the author of more than a dozen books.
