4 de abr. de 2023 · The Tulane University logo and seal were created in different eras, but they share a central element – a heraldic shield. The emblem has a complex, intricate shape and serves as the basis for the monogram of the letters “TU.”
Tulane University, officially the Tulane University of Louisiana, is a private research university in New Orleans, Louisiana. Founded as the Medical College of Louisiana in 1834 by seven young medical doctors, it was turned into a comprehensive public university as the University of Louisiana by the state legislature in 1847. [7]
The Tulane University brand needs to be a reflection of the character, culture and passionate drive of the institution — the very elements that underpin its mission statement.
This logo image consists only of simple geometric shapes or text. It does not meet the threshold of originality needed for copyright protection, and is therefore in the public domain . Although it is free of copyright restrictions, this image may still be subject to other restrictions .
The official shield and wordmark in Tulane green must appear prominently on all Tulane websites and other electronic publications. There are applications in which the TU shield can be used as a graphic element by itself.
