John Russell Hind (født 12. mai 1823 i Nottingham, død 23. desember 1895 i Twickenham i London) var en britisk astronom. Han var utdannet sivilingeniør , og ble i 1840 assistent ved den magnetisk-meteorologiske avdelingen ved Greenwich-observatoriet og i 1844 observatør ved George Bishops private observatorium i Regent's Park i London.
