They do seem to want her to look older than the actress’s age at the time. I think Linda Cardellini was 38 or 39 playing her but I think they were going for early-mid 40s. Cardellini’s styling is really jarring to me. It looks like she’s wearing a costume, unlike everyone else on the show. Her hair doesn’t look right, for starters.
