Simmer, covered with the lid, until the root vegetables are tender, about 10–15 minutes. The Tonjiru is done cooking when a skewer inserted into a tough and thick vegetable pierces through.
21 de nov. de 2019 · Bring dashi stock or water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Turn off the heat and whisk in miso paste. Make sure no big chunks remain. Add cubed tofu and wakame. Cover and let the residual heat gently warm the tofu and rehydrate the wakame, about 5 minutes. If you need, gently reheat soup until steaming.
