He has won the heavyweight championship for the fourth time.
Holyfield was a 7-5 favorite. Bowe was ranked No. 1 by the WBA and No. 3 by the WBC and IBF. Holyfield was guaranteed $5 million and Bowe was guaranteed $3 million. With their percentage of revenues, Holyfield earned around $17 million and Bowe made $5.5 million. There was a crowd of about 18,000 at the Thomas & Mack Center.
