Jerry had a variety of chronic health issues, ailments, and addictions associated with aging as well as a back injury incurred in a humorous pratfall. He died on August 20, 2017, at the age of 91, at his residence in Las Vegas, Nevada. End-stage heart disease and peripheral artery disease were the causes. Jerry was cremated after his death.
