12 de oct. de 2011 · 关于电影片名，有说它就不该叫《艺术家》（The Artist）。就像今时今日，如果哪个国内电影明星被称作艺术家或者德艺双馨，那基本是调侃，再不然就是挖苦讽刺。诚实来讲，影片要是改叫《演员》（The Actor）或《大明星》（The Big Star），似乎更符合故事内容。
The Artist (engl. für „Der Künstler“) ist ein Spielfilm des französischen Regisseurs Michel Hazanavicius aus dem Jahr 2011. Die Tragikomödie spielt zwischen 1927 und 1932 in Hollywood und erzählt die gegenläufige Erfolgsgeschichte zweier Leinwandstars (dargestellt von den französischen Schauspielern Jean Dujardin und Bérénice Bejo ) in der Übergangsphase vom Stumm - zum Tonfilm .

Atrás do telão, o astro George Valentin ( Jean Dujardin) chega a tempo para assistir ao final do filme estrelado por ele. Quando a produção termina, ele faz graça para a platéia, que o ovaciona.

The Artist is one of the most enjoyable movie experiences I have ever had. It deserves a wide audience and all sorts of awards. I can hardly wait to see it again. And oh yes, if there is ever an Oscar for best animal performance, the dog in The Artist should receive a lifetime achievement award for this role alone.

Wanneer in Hollywood de talkies arriveren lacht flamboyante ster George Valentin hartelijk en doet koppig zwijgend voort.
