Qué ver en Acre: Mezquita Al-Jazzar. Es la mezquita más grande de Israel fuera de Jerusalén. Fue inaugurada en el año 1781 durante el dominio otomano de Israel. La construyó el gobernador Ahmed al Jezzar Pasha. Famoso por su crueldad (fue apodado «el Carnicero«), inteligencia, y por haber derrotado a Napoleón.
