Services. /. Endoscopy. Endoscopy means looking inside the body for medical reasons using an instrument called an endoscope. The unit deals with in and out patient day cases, of which we provide endoscopic investigation of the gastointestinal tract and bronchoscopies. The Endoscopy Unit is on Craven Road, next to the Maternity block.
Buscot is the local neonatal unit at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, which takes babies from 27 weeks gestation onwards. The unit is made up of an intensive care area and three other nurseries. Buscot is divided into four nurseries. Your baby will most likely start in the Red Nursery which provides the most acute, high level care to babies.

Parking for patients and visitors at the Royal Berkshire Hospital is on levels 0, 1, 2 and 3 of the multi-storey car park in Craven Road. From the multi-storey you can easily get to main reception on level 2 of the Main Entrance Block. There are also a small number of parking spaces: outside North Block (the old entrance on London Road)
