Originally appearing as a solo cut on Kahan's 2023 album, Stick Season (We'll All Be Here Forever) , the genre-blending folk maverick began teasing a remix of ‘Dial Drunk’ in early July.

I do like Post Malones music, I was just hoping he wouldve brought more of a "Feeling Whitney" vibe to Dial Drunk but he brought more of a pop vibe. Honestly, I think it’s so cool to get Post Malone’s verse and how he intertwined it with Noah’s. I really enjoy it, and honestly Noah just sounds like happy singing it.
