9 de oct. de 2007 · Tony Hadley (born Anthony Patrick Hadley, 2 June 1960, Islington, London) is an English pop singer who fronted the 1980s New Romantic band Spandau Ballet.The group disbanded in 1989, after their final studio album, Heart Like a Sky, failed to live up to the critical and commercial success of their earlier albums, such as True.
2006–2008: Passing Strangers [] 2006 saw the release of Hadley's first solo album in nine years, a jazz-swing album entitled Passing Strangers . [21] The album consisted of eighteen tracks, both covers and original songs, and was laid out in the format of a vinyl album, described by Hadley as being a "nod" to the good old days.

Dopo lo scioglimento degli Spandau Ballet nel 1989, Tony Hadley ha proseguito la sua lunga carriera come cantante solista. Ha debuttato nel 1992 con l’album The State of Play, contenente i singoli Lost in Your Love e For Your Blue Eyes Only.
Tony "Big Tone" Hadley gehört schon seit Spandau Ballet zu meinen Lieblingssängern. Allerdings haben mir insbesondere zu Beginn seiner anschließenden Solo-Karriere trotz einzelner schöner Songs unterm Strich die schönen Melodien und Arrangements von Gary Kemps Kompositionen gefehlt (so wie mir bei Kemps wunderschönem "Insolo" Hadleys Stimme fehlt).
