After Alexis Lichine's death in 1989, however, his son Sacha had to realise that the capital cover in his father's companies was thinner than desired.
100% Chardonnay. The grapes are picked when ripe, then pressed at room temperature. The low temperature fermentation (15-17°C) lasts a week. Tasting notes : A golden colour with a few green tints. A rich bouquet expressing notes of acacia flowers, fresh butter, pineapple and tropical fruit. A rich palate, fleshy and harmonious with lemony notes.

Alexis Lichine was clearly ahead of his time. In 1953, thanks to the aid of Count Lur Saluces from Chateau d’Yquem, Chateau Prieure Lichine was able to get back on track. By the 1970s, thanks to the strategic efforts of Alexis Lichine, Prieure Lichine was able to expand to 58 hectares of vines.
Préchauffer le four à 180°C. Peler l’oignon et les gousses d’ail et émincer les. Eplucher grossièrement les courgettes. Couper les légumes en tranches fines. Au fond du plat, étaler les oignions et l’ail. Placer les légumes en alternant les tomates, l’aubergine, les courgettes et des tranches de fromage de chèvre.
