Of course the album is a sole rollercoaster of blasting power chords but that is precisely its major problem, nothing can cast away the shadow from the introductory tracks, not even "Aquarian" which is epic to the extreme also in its own power chord and mesmerizing rhythm nor does the eponimous "Holy mountain" with its florid psychodelic loom of rythmic power and guitar and bass arpeggiated play.
