They were celebrated for their inventive attacks on the socially respectable and upon ordered society in general. Five Marx brothers became entertainers: Chico, Harpo, Groucho, Gummo, and Zeppo.

Harpo Marx nació el 23 de noviembre de 1888]], Nueva York perteneciente a Estados Unidos. Su verdadero nombre era Adolph Marx, aunque posteriormente se lo cambiaría a Arthur.
