The overriding assumptions and objectives of the Dalton school were disseminated by many educators, including Dewey and Rowid. According to the definition of Rowid, the Dalton school is one in which the personal potential of the student is liberated, enriching and improving the life of the individual, and thus the whole society.

Op onze school die, op 1 oktober 2021 401 kinderen telde, organiseren we het onderwijs met behulp van de daltonpijlers: verantwoordelijkheid, samenwerken, zelfstandigheid, effectiviteit en reflectie. Door deze pijlers in afwisseling maar vooral ook in samenhang gedurende de dag te laten terugkomen creëren we duidelijkheid en een mooie doorgaande lijn van groep 1 tot en met groep 8.
