Rupert Till is Head of the Department of Music and Design Arts at the University of Huddersfield, UK.His main research interests are in popular music and sound archaeology; he directed Huddersfield activities within the EU funded European Music Archaeology Project, (2013-18), and has been Principal Investigator for two AHRC/EPSRC grants.
