The adventures of many of DC Comics greatest superheroes and villains. Legends of the Superheroes is a series of two television specials aired January 18 – January 25, 1979 - featuring Batman and Robin as members of the Justice League of America. Frank Gorshin came back to play the Riddler for the first special, the only guest villain from the series to ever reprise a role alongside Adam West and Burt Ward outside the initial run.
In a two-part all-action, all adventure and part-time comedy special, many of the greatest superheroes of the DC Comics pantheon team up to take down some of their long-running enemies, then stop for a celebrity roast held in honor of Batman.
