Brief Life History of Josiah. When Josiah Franklin was born on 23 December 1656, his father, Thomas Franklin, was 58 and his mother, Jane White, was 39. He married Anne Child on 23 December 1677. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 3 daughters. He immigrated to Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America in 1683.
