The Blue Ridge School’s 750-acre campus is built for active boys, with almost 20 miles of trails and facilities for everything from camping and fishing to rope climbing and marksmanship. As you can see on our interactive map, our trails are built to match a variety of skill levels—beginner to challenging to advanced—for hiking and mountain biking.
Three years later, on May 29, 1932, the Bishop Coadjutor of Virginia, Frederick D. Goodwin, led the service of consecration. The chapel was named in memory of Robert A. Gibson, Bishop of Virginia when the school was founded. The chapel’s design was a gift from America’s best-known architect at the time, Ralph Adams Cram.
