There is a massive wooden gate/fence, so you really can't see much. Plus, all of the greenery, you are only peeking through to get a glimpse of the brownish/red home and windows. There are steps behind one of the benches in Viretta Park, and we are not sure if those lead to a better view of Kurt's home.

Kurt Donald Cobain (February 20, 1967 – c. April 5, 1994), was an American musician, best known for his roles as lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter for the Seattle-based rock band Nirvana. Cobain formed Nirvana in 1987 with Krist Novoselic. Within two years, the band became a fixture of the burgeoning Seattle grunge scene.

Went to Kurt Cobain's childhood home and memorial. Took some pics under the bridge where his ashes was spread in the Wishka waters, and where he wrote songs under the bridge. After visiting Jimmy Hendrix grave I was expecting something extravagant since he is an icon. But, it was very simple, like him. Just a few stones, some benches, and guitars.
