The aim of the Nazi concentration camps was to contain prisoners in one place. The administration of the camps had a distinct disregard for inmates’ lives and health, and as a result, tens of thousands of people perished within the camps.

30 de jul. de 2018 · In early 1945, when the tide of war was clearly turning against the Third Reich, several pregnant Jewish women managed to survive in the concentration camps, together with their newborns. 4, 16 – 19. A very special example was the “Pregnancy Unit” ( Schwanger Kommando) in the Kaufering sub-camp of Dachau.
