I had professor Mary Anne Clarke for HIST104 class and let me just tell you, she is the BEST!!! This professor seriously cares about her students and even bakes them cookies!! She is there for her students and wants everyone to succeed. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who wants to put in the effort and is willing to do the work!!!

This portrait. Mary Anne Clarke is best remembered for her central role in the 1809 scandal involving the sale of army commissions which forced the Duke of York's resignation as army commander-in-chief. In this miniature on ivory she appears as the Duke's mistress and her shapely form and pale skin are shown to advantage by a thin muslin gown.
