When Archibald Douglas 6th Earl of Angus was born about 1489, in Lanarkshire, Scotland, his father, Sir George Douglas Master of Angus, was 21 and his mother, Lady Elizabeth Drummond Countess of Angus, was 18. He married Margaret Tudor Queen of Scots on 6 August 1514, in Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter.
