Patricia Edwina Victoria Knatchbull, 2nd Countess Mountbatten of Burma was a British peeress and the third cousin of Queen Elizabeth II. She was the elder daughter of Louis Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma and his wife, the heiress Edwina Ashley, a patrilineal descendant of the Earls of Shaftesbury, first ennobled in 1661.

Patricia Edwina Victoria Knatchbull, 2nd Countess Mountbatten of Burma, Dowager Lady Brabourne, CBE, MSC, CD, JP, DL (born 14 February 1924) is a British peer and the third cousin of Queen Elizabeth II.
He is the eldest son and of Patricia Edwina Victoria Knatchbull (née Mountbatten) 2nd Countess Mountbatten of Burma (1924-2017) and John Ulick Knatchbull, 7th Lord Brabourne (1924-2005). From Mountbatten's death on 27th August 1979 until the death of his father on 23rd September 2005 (when Norton succeeded to his father’s Barony) he used his mother's courtesy title and was styled 'Lord Romsey'.
