Anne Bancroft. Anna Maria Louisa Italiano, kjent som Anne Bancroft, (født 17. september 1931, død 6. juni 2005) var en amerikansk skuespillerinne. Hun ble født i The Bronx i New York. Etter flere TV-opptredener under navnet Anne Marno ble hun bedt om å endre familienavnet til spillefilmdebuten i Farlig kvinne i 1952.
Nel 1964 Anne Bancroft interpreta "Frenesia del piacere", e lo stesso anno dopo aver divorziato da Martin May col quale era stata sposata dal 1953 al 1957, sposa l'attore e regista Mel Brooks. Il loro matrimonio dura nel tempo ed è uno dei pochi sodalizi realmente riusciti nel difficile e paludoso mondo del cinema.
