John Rolfe and Pocahantas were married in 1614. Their son, Thomas Rolfe (b. 1616) and his wife, Jane Poythress, had one daughter, Jane Rolfe. She married Col. Robert Bolling (1646-1790) in 1675. She died in 1676 leaving one son, Col. John Bolling (1675- 1729), a member of the Virginia House of Burgesses. Descendants are listed to ca. 1800.
