James Waldegrave, 1st Earl Waldegrave (1684–1741), who married Mary Webb, daughter of Sir John Webb, 3rd Baronet, in 1714. [7] Hon. Arabella Waldegrave (1687–1740), who became a nun. He was a Lord of the Bedchamber from 1743-52, appointed to the Privy Council in 1752 and Governor to the Prince of Wales and Prince Edward from 1752-56.
