28 de oct. de 2023 · The award, established in 1937, is named for Irving Thalberg (1899–1936), the “boy wonder” who headed the Production Division of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer from 1924 until his untimely death in 1936 at the age of 37. Thalberg got his start in the movie business at Universal Studios before he was 20 years old.
