20 de ago. de 2017 · Anyone who has seen Medici: Masters of Florence (also billed as I Medici) could not fail to notice the strong, though often contentious relationship between the powerful, brilliant Cosimo de Medici and his wife, proud, noble-born, fiercely intelligent Contessina de Bardi. Here are seven reasons why Cosimo de Medici and Contessina de Bardi de Medici are our new favourite TV couple.
Contessina de Bardi (en italien, Contessina de' Bardi ), aussi appelée Contessine en français 1, née vers 1390 à Florence et morte à Florence en octobre 1473. Elle est la fille d’Alessandro de' Bardi ou, selon d’autres sources, de Giovanni et de Emilia Pannocchieschi de la branche des comtes de Vernio de la famille Bardi. En 1414, elle épouse Cosme de Médicis .
Contessina"s parents were Alessandro di Sozzo Bardi, count of Vernio, and Cammilla Pannochieschi, daughter of Raniero di Guido Pannochieschi, count of Elci. Like Giovanni"s marriage to Piccarda, this marriage brought noble connections to the common family of the Medici.
