Queen's College in Twentieth Century Impressions of Hongkong, Shanghai, and other Treaty Ports of China (1908) In 1889, construction of the school was completed at a cost of HKD250,000, making it one of the largest and most expensive buildings in Hong Kong at that time. In 1894, the school was officially renamed Queen's College.

Membership of Queen’s is lifelong. Emerging onto Front Quad as a Fresher, you become a member of Queen’s for life. On graduation, your path into the world of work or further study may take you away from College, but you carry your connection to Queen’s with you, to all corners of the world. The College has a strong tradition in Mathematics. We currently admit 7–8 students each year. The courses. The courses last four years for an MMath and three years for a BA. Apart from the single subject courses we welcome at Queen’s applications for the joint courses in Mathematics & Philosophy and in Mathematics & Statistics. Teaching

The College Office deals with graduation. Candidates may graduate either in person or in absentia. You may graduate in absentia at any graduation ceremony throughout the year, but the spaces allocated for Queen’s graduands to attend in person are limited to certain dates and times.
