29 de may. de 2018 · Schinkel, Karl Friedrich (1781–1841). Prussian architect, the greatest in Germany in the first half of C19. He was not only an architect of genius, but a civil servant, intellectual, painter, stage-designer, producer of panoramas, and gifted draughtsman. His output was prodigious, and his stylistically eclectic work was lyrical and logical.
Karl Friedrich Schinkel (13. März 1781–9. Oktober 1841) war der bedeutendste Architekt der ersten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts. Nach seinem Wirkungskreis und, soviel wir wissen, auch nach seinem Selbstverständnis, war er ein Staatsdiener des Königreichs Preußen und fühlte sich zugleich zugehörig zur internationalen Elite der Architektenschaft.

Karl Friedrich Schinkel was a Prussian architect, city planner, and painter who also designed furniture and stage sets. Schinkel was one of the most prominent architects of Germany and designed both neoclassical and neogothic buildings. His most famous buildings are found in and around Berlin.

13 de mar. de 2023 · Karl Friedrich Schinkel really was an allrounder, active not only in the field of architecture, but also busy in various related creative jobs. He was occupied as stage designer, creating the stage of Mozart ‘s ‘ Magic Flute ‘ performance in 1816 and stage designs for over 42 further plays at the National Theater in Berlin.[ 7 ]
