Henry IX the Black. Kunizza. Father. Albert Azzo II, Margrave of Milan. Mother. Kunigunde of Altdorf. Welf I (c. 1035/1040 – 6 November 1101) was Duke of Bavaria from 1070 to 1077 and from 1096 to his death. He was the first member of the Welf branch of the House of Este. In the genealogy of the Elder House of Welf, he is counted as Welf IV .
He succeeded as Duke of Lower Bavaria from 1310 until 1334 as co-regent of his brother Henry XIV and his cousin Henry XV. Louis X (German: Ludwig X, Herzog von Bayern ), ( Grünwald, 18 September 1495 – 22 April 1545 in Landshut) was Duke of Bavaria (1516–1545), together with his older brother William IV, Duke of Bavaria. His parents were Albert IV and Kunigunde of Austria, a daughter of Emperor Frederick III .

Margaret of Austria. Louis IX ( German: Ludwig IX, Herzog von Bayern-Landshut, also known as Louis the Rich; 23 February 1417 – 18 January 1479) was Duke of Bavaria-Landshut from 1450. He was a son of Henry XVI the Rich and Margaret of Austria. [1] Louis was the founder of the University of Ingolstadt (now the University of Munich ).
Albert was elected on 27 July 1298 and Rudolf then joined the Habsburg party, however, the strong dynastic policy of the new king caused led to a resurgence of the Wittelsbach dynastic conflicts. In 1301 King Albert put pressure on Rudolf to accept his ambitious younger brother Louis IV, the future Holy Roman Emperor, as co-regent.
