3 de ago. de 2015 · Being a vinyl exclusive, this recording is going to be the best you're going to find, and in terms of live issues it's pretty solid. Personally I'm not a big fan of live albums, there's usually a lot of riffing of the songs, which is understandable, the artist is attempting to give the audience a unique experience, and Jack White is well know for really letting it go when performing live .
I find almost everything Mr. Skibbe does to be disappointing, whether it's his hyper-limited mixes of Jack's live shows, or his bland mastering on things like the Elephant mono mix. I freaking love The White Stripes, but their catalog (especially these great, wild, live recordings!) deserves someone with a more discerning ear to handle it.

14 de may. de 2024 · Tucked away in 2.5 acres of Kalamazoo, Michigan’s lush greenery is a 3,500 square foot estate owned by Jack White. He purchased the mid-century estate, aka the Kirkpatrick House, for above asking price at $510,000 (and sight-unseen!) sometime in 2016. The home was designed by modernist architect, George Nelson, in 1958.
