Regardless, it did very well, not least because of Heath Ledger’s final performance as the Joker. Here are the best songs from the soundtrack. 14.

Gänsehaut pur und das noch nach 13 Jahre. Ein weiteres Highlight ist "And I Thought My Jokes Were Bad" der ein Mix aus dem Soundtrack-Album bildet und dies gekonnt vorantreibt. Allgemein ist der Soundtrack sehr treibend und erzeugt bei mir mit jedem weiteren Track mehr Nervosität. In meinen Augen, kann man nicht an diesem Soundtrack vorbeikommen.
There’s little breathing room on Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard’s brilliantly conceived soundtrack for The Dark Knight. Just like Heath Ledger’s totally psycho portrayal of The Joker, almost every track is heavy, dense and claustrophobic.
