Good Deeds Day was initiated in Sierra Leone in 2018. In Sierra Leone, we provide sustainable education and care to underprivileged children, youth, and young people of the Western Rural district. The goal is to overcome the social and environmental problems that deepen and perpetuate the cycle of poverty in those communities.

Each year, hundreds of thousands put into practice the simple idea that every single person can do something good, be it large or small, to improve the lives of others and positively change the world.
Good Deeds Day was initiated by Shari Arison, the brainchild she originated as she walked on the dunes of Wingate in 2007. Since then, Good Deeds Day has evolved into an international day celebrated in more than 100 countries worldwide, involving millions of people who step out to do a good deed – each according to their heart’s desire, way, and skill.

Good Deeds Day in Moldova has been organized since 2016. RVC is the official represantative of GDD in Moldova. Registration for the event is divided into two types: registration for volunteers – those who want to volunteer through RVC as a person, and registration for organizations who wishes to take part in Good Deeds Day, to organize a volunteer action.
