Queen’s Gate is an independent day school offering an excellent all-round education to girls from 4 to 18. We are a relatively small School with just over 530 pupils, but one which is rich in tradition and at the same time abundant with the energy and spirit of the 21st century.
Born and raised in SW London, Camilla is a Queen’s Gate old girl. After leaving QGS in 2006 she went on to read psychology (BSc) at Royal Holloway and proceeded to gain several post graduate qualifications; including a Postgraduate Certificate in Therapeutic Arts for Children, from The Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education and Early Years Professional Status from Kingston University.

Queen’s Gate girls love to perform! Individual music lessons in a wide variety of instruments are available, as well as choirs and orchestras to join. Many performances take place during the year. I love the school play because it taught us how real theatres work! IIA (Year 5) Pupil. An appreciation of the Arts is evident throughout the school.
Visitors are constantly astonished by how much we fit behind the imposing cream walls of our Victorian buildings. In our basements you find a full suite of Science Laboratories, all refitted in the past decade, to allow for top-class teaching and learning in those subjects.
