4 de abr. de 2024 · John of Islay, Lord of the Isles, lived from about 1305 to 1386. He was also known as Eoin MacDomhnaill or Iain mac Aonghais MacDhòmhnaill. Domhnall was born in 1362, as the son of Iain, Lord of the Isles, and Margaret, a daughter of Robert Stewart, the High Steward of Scotland. He was part of an extended family. He had nine brothers and sisters, as well as three half-brothers by his father’s earlier marriage to Ami MacRuari.
