28 de may. de 2023 · David Soslan (Georgian: დავით სოსლანი) (died 1207) was a prince from Alania and second husband of Queen Tamar, whom he married in c. 1189. He is chiefly known for his military exploits during Georgia’s wars against its Muslim neighbors. David Soslan's genealogy suggested by Prince Vakhushti.
Heraclius II, also known as Erekle II (Georgian: ერეკლე II) and The Little Kakhetian (Georgian: პატარა კახი [pʼatʼaɾa kʼaχi]; 7 November 1720 or 7 October 1721 [according to C. Toumanoff] – 11 January 1798), was a Georgian monarch of the Bagrationi dynasty, reigning as the king of Kakheti from 1744 to 1762, and of Kartli and Kakheti from 1762 until 1798.

28 de abr. de 2022 · Succeeding his cousin Vakhtang II, David's rule actually extended only over the eastern part of the kingdom, whereas western Georgia had been under the Imeretian branch of the House of Bagrationi since 1259. In 1295, he supported Baidu Khan in an internal conflict in the Ilkhanate. However, Baidu was killed and Ghazan became a khan.
He married c. 1411 Dulandukht, daughter of Beshken II Orbelian, by whom he had two sons: Vakhtang IV, King of Georgia; A daughter (c. 1411 – c. 1438) who married, 1425, the emperor John IV of Trebizond; Demetrius (c. 1413–1453), co-ruler in Imereti; father of Constantine II
