He received his B.S. from Colorado State University in health and exercise science with a sports medicine concentration. 28 de abr. de 2010 · Alexander was twenty-three years old. Their ship wrecked near Cape Town, South Africa. The two lost everything they owned, except the clothes on their back, their Bible and a psalm book. This included eight hundred books which Duff had planned to use in educational work. Undaunted, the two boarded another ship for India.

Alexander Duff (1806-1878) foi um missionário presbiteriano escocês enviado à Índia. Ele foi o primeiro missionário enviado além-mar pela Igreja da Escócia e que se notabilizou porque, na evangelização de hindus e muçulmanos, criou uma estratégia que, mesmo tendo sido mal compreendida inicialmente, terminou sendo popularizada por missionários de todo o mundo.
