  1. 13 de sept. de 2022 · Following a pandemic-related pause, TDF has announced the recipients of the 2022 TDF/Irene Sharaff awards, honoring achievement in theatrical costume design. The awards will be handed out in a ceremony presented through the TDF Costume Collection on Oct. 7.

Irene Sharaff was one of the most important theatre and film costume designers of the twentieth century, and largely responsible for establishing the art of costume design as a discrete discipline. She was only the third woman designer admitted to the United Scenic Artists of America, the theatre design union, and the first who was primarily a costume designer.
