La Voisin proveyó a Madame de Montespan de un afrodisíaco, el cual esta última administró al rey. Durante la aventura de Luis XIV con Madame de Soubise, Montespan utilizó un afrodisíaco proporcionado por una asociada de La Voisin, Françoise Filastre, elaborado a su vez por Louis Galet en Normandía.
